Intuitive eating coaching with Christine Byrne, MPH
Are you ready to finally stop obsessing over food?
That’s great! Making the decision to end dieting and disordered eating patterns is the most important step.
Whether you’re new to anti-diet work or you’ve been struggling through recovery for years, my intuitive eating coaching will help you make peace with food and your body, once and for all.
It’s not just about the food. Intuitive eating coaching is life-changing. Do you…
…spend entire afternoons Googling dinner menus to figure out the “healthiest” option?
…avoid buying your favorite foods because you worry you’ll lose control and binge?
…destroy food by pouring salt or liquid on it, to prevent yourself from digging it out of the trash and eating it?
…spend pretty much every waking hour thinking about what your next meal will be?
…alternate constantly between strict dieting and out-of-control eating?
…know deep down that dieting just doesn’t work for you, but keep trying diets anyway?
If you answered “YES” to any of the above, it’s nothing to be ashamed of. But, life doesn’t have to be this way! I can help.
I’m Christine Byrne, MPH, an intuitive eating coach and HAES RD-to-be.
I help women in their late twenties and thirties stop obsessing over food.
(Because I’m a woman in my thirties who understands how life-changing it is to finally stop obsessing over food!)
I take an anti-diet, Health at Every Size® approach to nutrition. I know that intuitive eating is the only way to find food freedom and end disordered eating for good.
Intuitive eating coaching isn’t just about food.
We also work on body image, self-acceptance, your relationship with exercise, and other things that are important for true wellness.
I know that the journey away from dieting and towards intuitive eating isn’t easy! That’s why I’m here to support you.
I’m not the expert of your body. You are.
I won’t tell you what or how to eat. Instead, I’ll help you figure out what works best for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
I primarily work with female-identifying individuals in their late twenties, thirties, and early forties. But, if you don’t fit into that group and want to work with me, I’d love to work with you! PLEASE NOTE: I do not work with anyone under 18. I take an inclusive approach to intuitive eating and nutrition. That means that I coach clients of all sizes, gender identities, races, ethnicities, and backgrounds. I will NEVER ask you to change your body, give up things you love, or do anything that’s not in line with your cultural traditions or preferences. I also take a client-centered approach, which means that it’s ultimately up to YOU to decide your goals for our work together, and what we discuss in session. I’m not pushing an agenda—we’ll work on things that we both agree will serve you.
The short answer is no. A main tenant of intuitive eating is that you will learn to accept and respect your body as-is. Only when you let go of your weight loss goals or hopes will you ACTUALLY be able to listen to your body and give up dieting. I can’t predict how your body will respond to the intuitive eating journey. Some people see weight changes, while other people’s weight stays fairly stable. The reason I don’t help people lose weight is that permanent weight loss just isn’t possible without permanently disordered behaviors. (Even then, it’s unlikely!) If you’d like to learn more about why this is, take a look through my blog section, or sign up for my weekly newsletter.
In our work together, I put you first. I’ll be guiding you through a program designed to help you ditch dieting, stop obsessing over food, accept your body, and become an intuitive eater. But ultimately, what we talk about and what you work on is up to YOU. If you’re looking for a trained coach to support you without pushing you to do things that don’t feel right, I’d love to be that coach for you.
As well as a master’s degree in nutrition and clinical nutrition experience, I have been working as a nutrition journalist since 2013. That means I’ve been learning about nutrition and intuitive eating professionally for almost a decade.
If you’re interested in working together but not sure if we’re a fit, schedule a discovery call! That’s what they’re for. And if you decide that we aren’t a good match, there’s no need to book a package.
No. While I work primarily with women, I accept male, female, and gender nonbinary clients. I do not accept clients under 18.
No, I do not accept insurance. Currently, my coaching services are not eligible for reimbursement.
Simply put: Change takes time! I do not offer single sessions, because I know that you wouldn’t get any results in that amount of time. In my experience, it takes at least 3 months to make any lasting change or progress.
If, at the end of your package, we decide that you could benefit from a few additional sessions, we will discuss payment and scheduling for those.
Currently, I have an MPH (masters of public health) in nutrition. I am in the final months of my registered dietitian training. In terms of career experience, I have been working as a food an nutrition journalist since 2013.
Yes! I see clients virtually through video chat and provide ongoing text support through an online platform.
